This is a pro-choice, confidential, and non-judgmental study from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Health Sciences. It looks like the study is aiming to provide research on accessibility across the country. And while abortions are “accessible” here on the South Shore, that accessibility can come with numerous barriers.
U of Ottawa is looking for people who have had abortions since January 1, 2010. If you or anyone is interested in this study (which has a long interview, but a financial incentive of a $40 gift card to Amazon), contact U of Ottawa directly.
However, people be interested in telling the story about how easy or difficult it was to access this service in Nova Scotia.
The study spaces are on a first come, first serve basis.
